Hobbies and Interests:

Reading

Mostly articles from the internet but there was a time when I loved to read fiction. I particularly like to read and browse through Reddit, Medium and Lifehack.org. It's pretty ironic really, I could get lost and waste hours and hours reading about productivity hacks which is very unproductive in itself or just be reading about random topics

Technology

I specifically love to read articles about technology even those about other fields or specializiations. I love finding out how things work behind the scenes (as long as it doesn't make my head hurt too much) and learning about simple yet practical hacks I can use in my everyday life that can save me time or effort. Aside from the previously mentioned sites, I also like to browse Hacker News and Tech Crunch every now and then but try to limit myself since there's so much to read. Sometimes I even block these sites that I like (along with facebook) just to make sure I don't focus too much on things I can't really use

Movies / TV Shows

I don't watch as often as I did a few years back but I that doesn't mean I don't like to watch movies or tv shows anymore. Some of my recent favorites are Mr. Robot, Silicon Valley, Stranger Things and Westworld. I really like in particular Mr. Robot and Silicon Valley (season 4 showing soon!!)

Games

I love games!! Whether it be MOBA, mobile or even browser games. I think I have around 500-1000 hours on DOTA 2, all level 10 walls (and a few level 11) on Clash of Clans, Dragons B10 on Summoners War etc. But I stopped playing last year to make room for other hobbies (like coding) since I always get into the competitive side of things even with simple games. Now instead of playing video games, I use gamified apps like Habitica and ForestApp to motivate myself to achieve my real life goals while playing. Habitica is basically a gamified to-do app where you have a character and get to choose a class with skills, join parties to do quests, level-up and collect items by doing your dailies, habits and to-do's. ForestApp on the other hand is a anti-distraction app primarily designed for smartphones but I generally use it as a Pomodoro Timer. I think using the right tools adds an extra layer of fun to my goals which definitely helps me focus and achieve them. I especially like how it gives me that small push to work on days where my motivation is lacking which results in me being more consistent. Kinda like taking your weakness and using it as your strength
